I went to R's graduation and bbq party tonight, and I felt so loved and included in this amazing community. At the end of the night while everyone else was huddling around the bbq warming their hands and singing gospel songs, I was sitting in my own corner, thinking about God, about what had I done to deserve this? This peace and love, I don't deserve. It's undeserved Grace. God's mercy is all that keeps me.

I had a bit of a scare on the bike coming back home too, and that reminded me again, what Paul said. I count all these as filthy rags, and if I am to boast, let me boast in the Lord, for nothing else has any value. Who am I, oh Lord that You are mindful of me? What is the son of man that You consider him?

My God, You alone are worthy of praise, for loving a people that have done nothing to deserve Your Great Love. Our lives are like a breath, a blade of grass that lives for a moment, then withers and is blown away in the wind.

So my boss forgets to lock her desk and leaves the key in the lock...
